This fun and spectacular tour takes you on a journey of some of the premium wineries of Bay of Plenty region AND to the amazing Karangahake Gorge for a guided tour of the "Windows Walk".
Picking you up from your accommodation or the information centre in Tauranga, we journey out to Morton Estate Wines for your first tasting. New Zealand has learnt from international successes and a long history of wine making to produce some of the world's best white wines which are enjoying increasing amounts of international recognition. The staff at the wineries are only too happy to share their love of wine with you.

Then onto one of New Zealand's premier boutique vineyards Ohinemuri Estate where you will enjoy the hospitality of Horst and his team.Your second tasting will expand on the variety of unique New Zealand tastes.

After a georgeous lunch its off to the past and the exquisite beauty that Karangahake Gorge offers. We will take you on a tour of the part of the old mine called "The Windows Walk" a 40 -045 minute walk through some amazing tunnels and walkways. Your experience is further enhanced by our guides who are bulging with passion for the history, geology and nature that you shall be immersed into. This is one of New Zealand's best kept secrets with plenty of incredible photo opportunities, so bring the camera(s).

Finally we cruise to the exclusive and beautiful Mills Reef Winery on the edge of Tauranga City for your third and final tasting. Mills Reef is one of the most famous and established wineries, enjoy their different ranges of wines and the beautiful surrounding gardens before we make our way back to the ship.
